Barak Se Bharat Tak
At URAGO, we believe that India belongs to everyone. That every Indian, irrespective of their economic status, deserves affordable, safe and timely mobility.
Who We Are
We are — URAGO. A proudly Bharat-born, technology-driven transport aggregation platform.
Headquartered in Silchar, Assam, URAGO has become a trusted mobility partner for the people of Barak Valley. Our journey started from Cachar, Sribhumi & Hailakandi with a single vision — to provide affordable and efficient last-mile connectivity.
URAGO is India's largest idea of local-first cab platform — now starting from the heart of Assam. We are building for the 500 million Indians who need affordable daily rides.
Founded in 2026 by Prantosh Mohan Das, CEO & Founder of URAGO. His vision was simple — to create livelihood opportunities for the local youth and to give the common people of Assam a ride they can trust.
“I saw my own people in Cachar struggling for a safe cab at night. That day I decided, our Barak Valley needs its own app. URAGO is not my company, it's our Barak Valley's company. Aaj Barak Valley, Kal Pura Bharat.”
What We Do
URAGO is built to solve daily travel for cabs — from Barak Valley to All India. We are pioneering a fair, sustainable model where riders get affordable fares and drivers earn maximum respect and income.
Zero-Commission SaaS Model
Unlike other aggregators taking 20-30% commission, our Captains pay only a minimal software usage fee and take 90% of the fare.
Zero Cancellation Guarantee
Because Captains keep the majority of what they earn, they never cancel, and our customers never complain.
100% Insured & GPS Tracked
Every single trip is live GPS tracked with integrated SOS safety features and commercial accidental insurance coverage.
No Surge Pricing
Honest, upfront pricing with no surge prices even during festive peak rushes like Durga Puja or Eid.
